Section 1. Product and Company Identification

Section 2. Composition/ Information on Ingredients

It is composed of 70-90% heavy metal complex, and does not include lead.

Section 3. Hazards Identification

Heavy metal and rubber composite material. Dangerous only if ingested.

Section 4. First Aid Measures & Medical Information

  • Skin : Dermatitis may result from repeated contact. Wash with soap and water.
  • Eyes : May cause eye irritation. Flush well with running water to remove particulate. If irritation persists, get medical attention.
  • Inhalation : May cause upper respiratory tract irritation and symptoms including abdominal pain, nausea, dizziness and dry throat.
  • Ingestion : Give water and get medical attention.
  • Signs and Symptoms of Exposure : Systematic heavy metal poisioning has symptoms of metallic taste, vomiting, colic, loss of appetite and weight and diarrhea. In addition, skin irritation or dermatitis may result.
  • Medical Conditions Generally Aggravated by Exposure : Lung, kidney, liver and nervous system.

Section 5. Fire-fighting Measures

  • Flammability : Self-extinguishing
  • Extinguishing : Carbon dioxide, dry chemicals ot foam
  • Special Fire-fighting Measures : Use chemical mask

Section 7. Handling & Storage

  • The cut surface of material is the main cause of exposure. Wash hands after handling.
  • Do not allow eating, drinking, smoking, or using cosmetics while handling the materials. Wash your hands and face before eating and drinking.
  • Store in a clean, dry warehouse. Rolls should not be dropped and should be laid flat if possible/ Do not expose materials to excessive heat above 50 °C or above 80% humidity.

Use Latex or equivalent Gloves of it.

Fundamentally stable and soluble in a particular solvent

Section 11. Toxicological Properties

The toxicological effects of heavy metals are the same whether they enter the body through breathing or swallowing. Heavy metals can affect most organs and systems in the body. The main target of toxicity is the nervous system. Exposure to high levels of heavy metals can damage the Lung, kidney, liver and nervous system.

Section 12. Ecological Information

Heavy metal composites are non-degradable and will persist in the environment. They are insoluble in water and not attacked by most inorganic acids and bases.

Section 13. Disposal Considerations

Waste Disposal : Classified in Europe as non-hazardous under EWC code 12 01 99. Should be disposed of in registered landfill sites in accordance with Local Authority regulations
